Here are the specs on this model of docking station from Dell's Website.
Features: Latitude C/Dock Expansion Station
- Fully compatible with all Dell Latitude CP computers (see Dell Latitude C/Dock Expansion Station Before You Dock for information required to load computer drivers and configure the computer for use with the C/Dock Expansion Station during initial installation).
- Docking control base to ensure proper connection between the C/Dock Expansion Station and the computer.
- One PCI expansion-card slot, which supports a half-length, 5-volt (V) PCI expansion card (or a universal PCI card). Dell factory-installed and supported PCI card options include a 64-bit PCI video card with 4 MB of VRAM, and a PCI 4/16-Mbps Token Ring network card.
- Built-in SCSI controller and connector compatible with the UltraSCSI-2 PCI-to-SCSI standard. The connector also supports Fast SCSI devices.
- IR port for wireless connection with other IR-equipped devices. The IR port is compatible with IrDA Standard 1.1 (Fast IR) and 1.0 (Slow IR).
- "Hot-docking" support for computers using the Microsoft® Windows® operating systems (hot-docking allows you to dock your computer to the C/Dock Expansion Station while the computer is on and running application programs).
- Built-in Ethernet controller and connector for attaching the C/Dock Expansion Station (and your portable computer) directly to an Ethernet network (10/100-Mbps BASE-TX 3Com® Etherent network interface controller).
- Padlock arm and security cable slot features for installing security protection for the C/Dock Expansion Station. Inserting a lock and cable secures the C/Dock Expansion Station to the desktop environment, and since the lock also blocks the eject lever, it makes it difficult to eject the computer from the C/Dock Expansion Station.
- Eject lever for easy separation of computer and the C/Dock Expansion Station.
- Media bay that allows you to install either a CD-ROM drive or diskette drive from your Dell Latitude CP computer.
- Two USB connectors for connecting devices, such as a mouse, keyboard, camera, or speakers. The USB connectors support the use of a USB hub device for the connection of multiple devices. For more information, see the instructions that accompanied the USB device.
- One PS/2-compatible mouse port (mini-DIN connector) for attaching a mouse device.
- One PS/2 keyboard connector (mini-DIN connector) for attaching a PS/2-style keyboard or external numeric keypad.
- One serial connector for attaching a serial device, such as a serial mouse or external modem.
- One parallel connector for attaching a parallel device, such as a tape drive or printer.
- One video connector for attaching an external SVGA monitor.
- AC adapter connector for attaching the AC adapter.
- One docking connector for attaching your portable computer to the C/Dock Expansion Station.
- One RJ45 network connector for attaching to an Ethernet network.
- One headphones/speakers jack for connecting external speakers or headphones.
- One microphone-in jack for connecting an external microphone.
- One line-in/audio-in jack for connecting an external record/playback device.
- One infrared port for wireless connection to an infrared device.

**NOTE**
If you choose the "Inspiron Modification UPGRADE" we will modify your docking station (as described in the link at the top) by opening it up and removing the hook, reassembling the docking station and testing to make sure it works fine. You will still need to complete the other modification steps on your Inspiron laptop.
